James Rozell Anderson, 83, of Garland, Texas went home to be with the Lord on March 8, 2024, with his wife of 61 years, Ramona, by his side.

He leaves behind his daughters Christy Ramsey and husband Ralph, and Pam Anderson; grandchildren Valerie (Adam), Lenzie (Andrew), Shelbie (Parker), and Hannah; four great grandchildren Asher, Harper, Connor, and Kade; and many nieces and nephews. He is survived by his brother John D. Anderson of Allen, Tx. Proceeded in death by parents David and Roberta Anderson, and brother, Bill Anderson.

His faith and sharing with others about Jesus were the most important parts of his life. He was very active in his church community and loved spending time with his close friends and family. His laughter was contagious. He enjoyed talking to people, and he never met a stranger.

Visitation will be at First Baptist Church Garland on Thursday March 14, 2024,  from 10:00-11:00 am with the funeral to follow.
