Obituary

Jaime Rico, III, son of Jaime Rico, Jr. and Sabrina Rodriguez, was born on May 17th, 2024, at Medical City Dallas Hospital in Dallas, Texas. He was 6 pounds, 3 ounces and 18.3 inches long. He passed peacefully in his mother's arms on May 19th, 2024, after a valiant fight against complications from hydrops. He was perfect and beautiful.

He will be forever loved by his mommy and daddy and six big siblings, Jaylin Rico, Violet Rico, Joesiah Medrano, Jaylena Medrano, Jionni Medrano, and Sebastian Medrano. Although Jaime's life was short, he was and will continue to be always very loved.

Jaime is greeted in heaven by his grandpa, Celedonio Jose Rodriguez; and his great-grandparents, Cecilia Rodriguez, Mariano Lara, and Virginia Zamora. He is mourned on earth by his grandparents, Jaime Rico Sr. and Rosavel Rico; uncles, Celedonio Jose Rodriguez Jr., Benito Lee Rodriguez, and Eric Rico; aunt, Jessica Rico; great-aunts Mariana Luna, Angie Garcia, and Virginia Ravelo; and so many dear friends, including "grandma" Abbie Smith.

Thank you to our family and friends for your prayers and generosity; we are humbled at the outpouring of love you've shown to us and the ways you've honored Jaime's life.

Jaime, we love you and are so grateful for you and your life, no matter how brief it may have been. You have forever changed our hearts, and we can't wait to one day be able to understand the full extent of how God will use your life for His good.
