Glenda Nell Raney Hendrex, 90, of Garland, Texas, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 10, 2025, greeted by her Savior, Jesus Christ and her beloved husband, Carl.

Born on July 23, 1935, in Garland to Opal and Edgar Raney, Glenda was raised in her hometown and graduated from Garland High School in 1953. On November 16, 1957, she married the love of her life, Carl Hendrex, at her parents' home.

Glenda worked as a secretary before later working in floral design. In the late 1960s, she and Carl moved to Clarksville, Texas, for Carl's work promotion. Together, they built a new home and enjoyed several happy years there.

A devoted wife and homemaker, Glenda lovingly cared for Carl and their precious pets. At the time of her passing, she was a member of the Centerville Road Church of Christ.

Glenda was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Edgar Howard Raney; and her beloved husband, Carl. She is survived by her cousins, friends, and many wonderful neighbors.
