Gerald Waldon Gregory, age 84, passed away on September 23, 2024, in Garland, Texas. Born on June 21, 1940, Gerald was a respected and integral member of the Garland community, having dedicated many years to Prestonwood Towers as the Chief Building Engineer before retiring in 2004.

Gerald attended Garland High School, where he began forging his path with determination and resilience. His commitment to service was evident early on as he joined the Army in 1958 and was called back to duty during the Berlin Crisis from 1961-1962, showcasing his dedication to his country.

A passionate sports fan, Gerald's love for the Texas Rangers and Dallas Cowboys was well-known amongst his friends and family, bringing them together for countless games and memorable moments.

Gerald is survived by his loving wife, Karron Gregory; son, Travis Gregory and daughter-in-love, Jennifer McCleary; Daughter, Shannon Isom and son-in-law, Wayland Isom; Grandchildren Chyanne Crouch, Hailey and Joey Costello; Great Grandchildren Ashton and Sadie Costello; and His sister, Sharon Roberts. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Annie Gregory, and brothers, Lindon and Phillip Gregory.

Gerald's life was a testament to his strong work ethic, devotion to his country, and the loving memories he created with his family and friends. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
