1938-2024

Georgia C Tautenhahn passed away, on Monday Feb 19th , 2024, in Garland Texas
She was born in Baird Texas and was raised in West Texas, Georgia met her husband Douglas in Abilene
They had been married for 65 years. They raised 5 children, and being a military family, they were
stationed in many different bases. Georgia was a previous member of Baker Heights Church of Christ.

She was a Military wife focusing on raising her kids and taking care of the family. She loved to sew and
would make clothes for her three girls. She also would sew Barbie doll clothes. She loved being outside
and working in the garden. Until her last breath, she was outside pulling weeds and planting flowers.
She loved spending time with her great-grandkids and loved building with Legos.

Georgia is preceded in death by her husband Douglas, her parents Henry and Nancy Wright, 2 brothers
Richard and Calvin two sisters Blossom and Bonnie, one son Richard, and one grandson Nathan
She is survived by her children Tammy of Garland Texas, Holly and Cheryl of Abilene Texas, and Ed
(Alice) of Altus Oklahoma. Her grandchildren, whom she loved dearly, Michael (Rebecca), Eddie,
Amber(Nick), Stacy, Aaron, Brittany (Jordan), Samantha, and Paul. Lots of great grandkids, and numerous,
aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Visitation will be held Friday, February 23, 2024 from 5-8PM at Williams Funeral Directors.
