Gary Adam Lanehart passed away on Friday, February 16, 2024, at home surrounded by his family. Gary was a faithful L.S.U. Football fan since he was a small child. He was born on February 27,1966 in Baton Rouge, LA. Gary proudly graduated from L.S.U. Gary had a successful career designing top secret defense systems that kept Americans safe!

He was preceded in death by his father Adam Lanehart, mother Lorraine Lanehart, sister Nancy Blanchard and brother John Lanehart.  Gary is survived by his wife of 28 wonderful years Laurie and his daughter Amber. Gary is also survived by his sister Della Lanehart and brother Brad Lanehart. Gary is also survived by many friends that he considered family. We cannot forget to mention Gary's beloved pet dog "Chip" a Maltipoo who still reigns terror on the household!

Gary will be cremated at Williams Funeral Home in Garland, Texas. Gary's wife Laurie is organizing a public memorial on Wednesday, February 28, 2024. Visitation opens at 12:00p.m. with the service starting at 1:00 p.m. Anyone with fond memories, stories, or keepsakes; feel free to attend and share.
