It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Frank Chamberlain, beloved father, husband, son, brother, and a proud veteran of the United States Air Force. He passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on August 20, 2024, at the age of 92.

Born on October 6, 1931, in Dallas, Texas. At the tender age of 15 he joined the Air Force with the help of his father, served from 1946-1965 and ended his career as a Staff Seargent. He had some great adventures during his time in the military, traveling to Germany, Paris, Italy, France and Tripoli North Africa to name a few. His stories were many of his military service. His favorite squadrons were the 602nd and the 603rd AC&W (Aircraft Control and Warning Squadron) in Germany. He had almost obtained his flight hours to become a pilot, however his logbook was stolen with no way to prove his hours. After his military retirement he began his career with Garland Power & Light (City of Garland) and retired as Assistant Chief System Operator in October 1993. He always knew he wanted a ranch. Crooked Horn Cattle Ranch became a reality in 1985. He and Margie (his late wife) spent many weekends there before his retirement. They had a huge garden, cows, Big Daddy (the beloved bull) and spent many hours fishing, hunting and of course lots of ranch work. He also had a love for motorcycles and enjoyed riding since Tripoli. He would spend hours on the weekends riding the back roads of the DFW area with his 2 sons.

He was not perfect but, he was a true mentor and Father to his children; always there to guide and direct us whenever we needed him. We are so thankful that he introduced us to Church and that we know that he is in Heaven with his Savior.

Frank is preceded in death by his father, George Shelby Chamberlain, his mother Grace Lucille Pyle, his brothers, George S. Chamberlain Jr., and Robert E. Chamberlain, his son Guy Alan Chamberlain, his wives Joann Bell Chamberlain and Marjorie Sheffield Hall

He is survived by his Son, Steve Chamberlain (Pam) Daughters, Gail Blair, Karen Guthrie (Drew) Melody Chatham (Mike) and Daughter in law Martina Chamberlain. He is also survived and loved by 13 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Stepdaughters, Linda Hall (deceased) Cindy Hall, Rosie Hall (deceased) Jerry Hall, Terry Hall and numerous grand and great grandchildren on Marjorie's side of the family.
