Francine Claire Schwarz Grove, 78 of Garland Texas passed away August 28, 2023. Fran passed away quietly into another life into the arms of her Savior Jesus Christ with her daughter by her side.

Fran lived her life helping others and volunteering for the city of Garland. Fran was very involved with Garland Police and Fire Departments. She did citizens on patrol, Crime Stoppers, Taste of Garland, and Gun and hoses.  She went through the citizens police academy as well as the fire department citizens fire academy. And volunteered with keep Garland Beautiful. And last she worked with the City Council. Fran loved the city of Garland.

Fran was an apartment Manager at Woodgate Apartments for over 40 years, before that she was a key punch operator.

She graduated from St. Scholastica Academy in Arkansas in 1963.

Francine is survived by her husband Dale Brown of Garland, one daughter Lisa Vierling and husband Greg of Garland TX, Granddaughter Caitlin "Katie" Claire Pickett (Vierling) and husband Cody of Lubbock Tx, Granddaughter Taylor Nicole Slone and husband Collin, Granddaughter Sarah Ann Vierling of Aubrey Tx, one brother Robert Walker Schwarz and wife Nettie of Plano TX, several nephews and nieces, one Great- granddaughter Kinley Claire Pickett of Lubbock Tx and one
Great-grandson Lane Marcus Pickett of Lubbock Tx., stepdaughters Kelly Grove Hathorn, Louanne Grove Knight

She preceded in death by her parents Francis John Schwarz and Mary Claire (Walker) Schwarz, her only sister Sondra Launey, and her first husband Richard D. Grove, Jr

Service will be at Williams Funeral Home in Garland on Friday, September 1 at 10am
