In Loving Memory of Florinda R. Guerra (“Flor”)

With sorrow, yet with the sure hope found in Jesus Christ, we announce that Florinda R. Guerra, lovingly known as “Flor,” entered into the presence of her Lord and Savior on August 3, 2026, at the age of 85.

Born in Linares, Nuevo León, México, Flor lived a life marked by steadfast faith, sacrificial love, and devotion to her family. She loved the Lord with all her heart and faithfully reflected Christ through her kindness, prayers, hospitality, and unwavering trust in God’s goodness. Her greatest desire was that those she loved would know and follow Jesus.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Elio Guerra; her children, Pepe Guerra, Lorena Escamilla, and Patty Kanchwala, and Karla Guerra; her cherished grandchildren, Fernando Cervantes, Shajid Kanchwala, Fiza Kanchwala, Luis Guerra, Elías Guerra, Eliomanuel Escamilla, Sarai Escamilla, Bethzaida Guerra, Corazin Valdez, Ismael “Junior” Guerra, Nick Samano and Luis Lira Guerra; as well as several great-grandchildren, extended family, and dear friends.

Though her family grieves her absence, they rejoice in the hope of the Gospel, knowing that Flor is now in the presence of her Savior, where there is no more pain, sorrow, or death. Her life was a testimony to God’s faithfulness, and her legacy of faith will continue for generations to come.
