Faye Louise Thomas, age 75, of Garland, Texas, passed away on November 29, 2025.

Born on January 6, 1951, in Memphis, Tennessee, Faye was the beloved daughter of Alberta and Otis Maddox. She later married the love of her life, John "Bob" Thomas, and together they built a family grounded in love, support, and deep devotion.

Faye was preceded in death by her parents, Alberta and Otis Maddox, and by her husband, John "Bob" Thomas.

Faye was a gifted musician with a lifelong passion for the cello. Her music filled homes, classrooms, and hearts with warmth and beauty. She carried that same dedication into her career as a teacher, where she shaped countless young minds with patience, encouragement, and a genuine love for learning.

She is survived by her sons, David Thomas and Jeffrey Thomas; her stepson, Michael Thomas; her brother, Jim Maddox; and her cherished grandchildren, Ben and Evie. Faye's family will forever remember her gentle spirit, her unwavering kindness, and the way she brought creativity and music into every part of life.

Faye touched many lives, and her memory will live on through the lessons she taught, the music she shared, and the love she gave so freely.
