Evelyn Leonard
Wegmann
Oct 20, 1933 — Dec 10, 2025
Evelyn Leonard Wegmann, age 92 of Sachse, Texas was born on October 20, 1933 in Amityville, New York to Joseph Leonard and Evelyn Genevieve Clark; and passed peacefully with family surrounding her on December 10, 2025.
Evelyn's childhood was centered around Farmingdale, NY until she joined the Air Force in November 1952, soon meeting who would ultimately be the love of her life. Dick & Evelyn married in June 1953. They lived a military life raising a family of 3 boys, stationed all over the U.S. and in England. Some of her favorite memories were of dancing the night away with her husband, hosting holiday gatherings with all of her kids and grandkids surrounding her, and traveling - whether to visit and make memories with her family or explore new sites with her husband, closest friends, and sometimes with grandchildren in tow. Evelyn loved with all her heart, she was the backbone of her family, and kept the smiles and laughter going with her quick wit and one liners.
