Esteban Rios was born at 2:30 a.m. on September 23, 1957, in Brownsville, Texas, and entered into the presence of his Lord and Savior, who redeemed him and called him home, on August 18, 2025, at 11:40 p.m.

After a long and courageous fight, Esteban finally laid down his battles here on earth and began running, dancing, and singing on the streets of gold.

He is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Esteban and Zoila Rios. He is lovingly remembered by his brothers Evodio, Alfredo, Jessie, and Danny, and by his sisters Sylvia, Sandra, and Sara.

Esteban's greatest joy was his family. He leaves behind his five children—Leah, Steve, Robert, Morgan, and Victoria—their spouses and significant others, and his cherished grandchildren: Adyson, Ethan, Makenna, Cole, Tobias, Luka, and Tyler. He will also be deeply missed by his many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and extended family who knew and loved him.

Esteban will be remembered for his faith, his love for family, and the legacy of kindness and strength he leaves behind.
His presence will be deeply missed, but his memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who loved him.
