Earline Davis

Earline Davis, age 94, passed away on November 14, 2022, in Rowlett, Texas. While laughing, talking,
and enjoying the day, Earline fell resulting in a head trauma which within the hour took her life.

Earline was born in Franklin, Texas, on March 30, 1928, and lived most of her life in Garland / Rowlett,
Texas. Earline was a wonderful mother to her only child Antoinette Phillips of Garland, Texas.

After a brief marriage to John Phillips, she shared 16 years of marriage with Norman Gleason until he
passed from a heart attack. In 1970, Earline married Jack Davis and they were together for 35 years
before his passing in 2004.

Her deep and abiding faith began as a young child with the Bible teachings of her parents, John T.
Watson and Floy W. Watson.

Earline was proceeded in death by her parents; brothers Alfred, Leonard, and Travis; and her sisters Lois,
Gladine, and Lucile.

Earline is survived by her daughter Antoinette Phillips and numerous nephews, nieces, and their
children.

A memorial service will be held Friday, November 18, 2022, at 1:00 at Williams Funeral Directors, 1600
South Garland Avenue, Garland, Texas 75040.
After the service, there will be a brief visitation for family and friends before a grave side service at the
adjoining cemetery. The family requests donations be made in memory of Earline Davis to the charity of
your choice.
