Duy Duc Pham, born on February 18, 1978, in Vietnam, passed away peacefully on July 7, 2026, in Garland, Texas. Remembered as a devoted family man, diligent professional, and selfless friend, Duy’s life was marked by loyalty, perseverance, and quiet generosity.
Duy’s commitment to education was apparent throughout his life. He earned an Associate of Science degree from Richland Community College in 2013, followed by dual Bachelor of Business Administration and Bachelor of Science degrees in Accounting from the University of North Texas in 2015. These accomplishments reflected not only his sharp intellect and remarkable aptitude for mathematics but also his determination to achieve personal and professional growth.
A proud member of the Marines, Duy brought to his civilian pursuits the discipline and resilience honed through military service. His colleagues and friends recognized him for his quick thinking and incredible memory, traits that set him apart in both academic and personal endeavors.
Those who knew Duy were touched by his enduring selflessness. Though often reserved in expressing his emotions, he demonstrated profound love and support for his family and community through countless acts of kindness. Whether teaching his younger brother how to fish, play billiards, or sharing in hobbies that became cherished lifelong memories, Duy’s patience and generosity left lasting impressions. He was especially dependable, always ready to step in and help when others were in need, no matter the personal cost.
Duy’s greatest pride was his family. He is survived by his wife, Thu Dang; his son, Christopher Pham; his father, Tan Pham; his mother, Tuyet Pham; his siblings, Mai Tuyet Pham, Oanh Tuyet Pham, Linh Tuyet Pham, Du Duc Pham, Thanh Duc Pham, and Tam Duc Pham; his brothers-in-law, Khoa Nguyen and Hung Banh; and his sister-in-law, Phuong Tran.
While Duy occasionally found motivation a challenge and sometimes experienced conflict with his siblings, his dedication to family was unwavering. The bonds he forged and the values he imparted will remain with his loved ones forever.
A time for friends and loved ones to pay their respects will be held during a visitation at Williams Funeral Directors, 1600 S Garland Avenue, Garland, TX 75040, on July 17, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at Mother of Perpetual Help Catholic Parish, 2121 Apollo Rd, Garland, TX 75044, on July 18, 2026, at 8:00 AM.
Duy leaves behind a legacy of steadfast devotion, kindness, and unspoken strength. He will be deeply missed by all whose lives he touched.
