Doyce Lynn Bothwell was born July 28, 1941 in McKinney, TX to Jesse Edward Bothwell & Lela Sutherland Bothwell and passed away March 27, 2023 in Plano, TX. Mr. Bothwell graduated from Crozier Tech High School and attended Arlington State College. He retired from Texas Instruments in 1998. Doyce is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Shirley Bothwell; son, Gregg Bothwell & Ellory Lien; brother, Charles Bothwell; bother-in-law, Jerry Bell & wife Claudette; brother-in-law, Jay Bell & wife Debbie; grandog, Scarlett; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, James Bothwell & wife Dottie; brother-in-law, James Bell & wife Edna; sister-in-law, Alice Bothwell. Visitation will be 6:00PM-8:00PM Thursday, March 30, 2023 at Williams Funeral Directors. Funeral service will be 1:00PM Friday, March 31, 2023 at South Garland Baptist Church, 1330 E Centerville Rd, Garland, TX 75041. Interment will be 10:30AM Monday, April 3, 2023 at Restland Memorial Park in the Garden of The Gospel.
