Doris was born on December 6, 1939 in Nashville, Arkansas to Aubrey & Helen Weeks, and passed away May 29, 2026 in Dallas, Texas. She grew up with her sister, Betty and brothers, Ray & Roy. Being a middle child, she was quiet & reserved. Doris was known for her kind spirit, strong sense of responsibility and a deep love of family. These qualities remained constant throughout a life rooted in faith, service and quiet strength.

Doris was a dedicated wife & mother. In 1958, she married Carl Ray, who preceded her in death. She took pride in making a warm & caring home. She found joy in everyday moments such as shared meals, laughter, traditions and conversation that brought people together. These moments became the foundation of cherished memories that will be held close for years to come.

Doris is survived by her sister, Betty Clark; brother, Roy Weeks; daughters: Carla Ray Hall, Beth Ray Smith, Donna Ray; son, Marty Ray; grandsons: Bruce Moore, Brent Moore, Matthew Frankel; granddaughters: Caitlin Ray, Carli Ray Nunes, Rebecca Smith; great-grandsons: Blake Moore, Benjamin Moore, Landon Frankel; great-granddaughters, Payton Moore and Madelyn Frankel.

Visitation will be 11:00AM – 1:00PM Tuesday, June 2, 2026 at Williams Funeral Directors. Graveside service and interment will immediately follow at the adjacent Garland Memorial Park.
