Donald Joe Bane passed away January 8th, 2024, after a long and courageous battle with aplastic anemia. Don was born at Florence Nightingale Maternity Hospital in Dallas, TX on August 13, 1959, to Merle and Robert Bane.

Don grew up in Garland, Texas and spent the last 29 years of his life working diligently as a HVAC Technician with the Dallas Independent School District. He loved watching Dallas Cowboys and Texas Rangers games and keeping up on current events. Don was a dependable and loyal friend to all he met and was always willing to extend a helping hand. He tirelessly and selflessly supported and cared for his mother and Father, and he was the best Uncle, Brother-in-Law and Brother that there could be. His beloved dog, Bokie, also meant the world to him.

Preceded in death by his parents, Don is survived by his brother, Mark, Sister-in-law, Sally, and Nephew, Eric Bane and his Wife, Lisa. A memorial service will be held at Williams Funeral Home on January 26, 2024, at 3:00 pm.
