Donald E. Armie was born on November 14, 1938 in Elwood In. and passed away February 4, 2026 at the age of 87. He enlisted in the Army in 1958 to serve our great country and was honorably discharged in 1964. He lived in Indiana until 1982 and moved to Texas. He married Bertha M. Armie in 1992 and they enjoyed a good life together. He retired from the City of Garland and they traveled, cruised and went on road trips. They both enjoyed family gatherings and took pride in their children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Donald was witty, kind and knew no stranger.

He is preceded in death by his wife Bertha Armie (2024), sisters Barbara and Sandy and son Thomas. He is survived by sister Cheryl, son Jeff(Brenda), nephew Keith (Best Buddy) and stepchildren J.K. Allen (Emmie), Mary Allen Goodson, and Mark Pumphrey(Kathy). Grand children Sean Armie(Miranda), Samantha Applegate(Eric), Sascha Burton(Kacey), Lauren Allen, Dylan Pumphrey(Carly), and Nichole Ciccolo (Brian), Robert Allen(Amanda), and Jonathan Allen (Caitlyn). Great grandchildren Nora, Alice, Zelda, Judah, Julian, Jackson, Ashlynn, Kypten, Rylee, Zoie, Jaxxon, Alayna, Dean and Brady.
