Diane Lamar Preciado, a beloved mother, grandmother, and cherished member of her community, passed away on May 17, 2024, at the age of 76. She was born on October 1, 1947, in Benavides, Texas, and had been residing in Oak Cliff, Texas.

Diane was a vibrant woman who found joy in the simple pleasures of life. Her favorite hobbies included staying fit and spending quality time with her children and grandchildren. She had a passion for Mexican food and could often be found enjoying a delicious meal with her loved ones. Diane had a deep appreciation for music, especially the works of Elvis and Selena. Nothing brought Diane more happiness than being with her family. She was known as Grandma and Bebop to her loved ones and cherished every moment spent with her children, Hermino Luna, Debra Luna, Alejandra Preciado, and her 14 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Diane was a dedicated nutritionist and herbalist, using her knowledge and expertise to make a positive impact on the lives of others. However, her proudest accomplishment was being a loving and supportive mother. She brought a cheerful, outgoing, and funny presence to every gathering, always bringing a positive light wherever she went. Diane Lamar Preciado will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her warm smile, loving nature, and unwavering positivity will forever be remembered and cherished.
