Diana Kay Smith, aged 68, of Richardson, TX, passed away on October 11, 2024.

Born September 24, 1956, she dedicated five years of service to the United States Navy from 1974 to 1979, embracing the disciplined life and camaraderie that military service fosters. Following her military service, Diana transitioned into a successful career in the insurance industry, where she was a valued computer operator and personal assistant. Her professional life was marked by meticulous attention to detail and a readiness to support her team.
Diana was a devoted member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Richardson, Texas, where she found a community of faith that enriched her life.
She is survived by her loving husband, Randall Smith; sisters, Gwen Steffens and Rae Runge; two stepchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Diana was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Barbara Runge.
