Deborah Sue Scannell (née Farrow), known affectionately as Debbie, passed away on July 19, 2024, at the age of 68 in Lavon, Texas. Born on July 9, 1956, in Garland, Texas, Debbie was a beloved figure in her community and deeply cherished by those who knew her.

Debbie graduated from North Garland High School and remained a lifelong resident of the area.

Known for her love of family, God, and friends, Debbie frequently went out of her way to support and care for those close to her. Her kindness and selflessness were evident in every aspect of her life.

Debbie is survived by her sons, Gary J. Scannell Jr. and Greg M. Scannell; daughter, Laura D. Luera; brothers, Dwayne L. Farrow and Darrel M. Farrow; sister, Donna G. Coleman; and grandchildren, Ryan H. Wilson, Christina M. Luera, Gabriel H. Luera, Jordyn L. Scannell, Jack L. Scannell, Landon J. Scannell, Megan K. Scannell, and Morgan B. Scannell. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thelma and Marvin L. Farrow, and her sister, Delores Farrow.
