Deborah Cooper Ross
Deborah Cooper Ross, born in Dallas on July 18, 1949, passed away peacefully on March 23, 2025, at the age of 75. She was a loving wife, devoted mother, proud grandmother, and cherished sister.
Deborah is survived by her husband of almost 37 years, Richard H. Ross of Rowlett; her daughters, Heather Finigan Medlock (Josh), Hillary Finigan Adams (Phillip), Hayley Finigan Hodges (Brent); and son, Heath Ross (Kelly). She was a beloved grandmother to Bronwyn, Cooper, Ryan, Lilly, Emily, Finigan, DJ (Lacie), and Hunter (Ashtyn). Deborah is also survived by her brothers, Larry Cooper, John Cooper (Debbie), and Tom Cooper (Debbie), as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members who will deeply miss her presence and love.
Deborah was preceded in death by her parents, Randall and Winona Cooper, her brother, Joe Cooper (Betty), and her granddaughter Avery Hodges.
A passionate member of the First United Methodist Church of Rowlett, Deborah found great joy in singing with the church choir. She also cherished spending time with friends and family, especially attending the activities of her beloved grandchildren. Her heart was always happiest when surrounded by the ones she loved.
A memorial service will be held to honor her life and legacy at First United Methodist Church Rowlett on Thursday, March 27. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the First United Methodist Church of Rowlett Music Ministries or The Methodist Health System Foundation.
Deborah's loving spirit, bright smile, ever-present kindness and unwavering devotion to her family and faith will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
