Dawn Roka Morrow, beloved wife, mother, sister and grandmother passed away peacefully in her sleep at the age of 65 on November 2, 2024 in McKinney, Texas. She was a wonderful person inside and out and was always there when we needed her most, offering encouragement, support, wisdom and love in abundance. Dawn was born June 13, 1959 in Long Beach, CA and was adopted by her loving parents Yvonne and David Morrow and lived her childhood in Kearns, Utah. Her journey on this earth was one marked by love, compassion, and unwavering faith in God. Her passing leaves a void in the hearts of her family, friends, and many more whose lives she touched. We ask that you remember her not for the way that she suffered in the end, but rather for the way she lived her life and the profound impact it had on the lives of those who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Dawn leaves behind a loving family: Husband Mark Yarbro; daughters Amanda Jones (Ryan), Kathryn Tomlin (Jeremy); son James Yarbro (Yvonne). Her prosperity also includes seven grandchildren; Kaylynn Jones, Riley Jones, Peyton Tomlin, Samantha Howard, Emily Howard, Justin Yarbro, Kacey Yarbro and great granddaughter Kinsley She is preceded in death by her parents Yvonne and David Morrow, brother Roy Morrow, sister Gae Beckstrom and daughters Angela Tischner and April Howard.

Dawn was always a hard worker franchising a Marie Calendar's restaurant and cooking for everyone any chance she could. Her recipes will always be family favorites for years to come. Dawn was always very strong in her faith. Her dedication and desire to bring light to those in need epitomized her joyful and generous nature. Those who knew Dawn will remember her for huge heart, beautiful smile, her deep-rooted faith in Jesus and unwavering commitment to spreading love and kindness to everyone she encountered. She had a rare gift for making others smile, laugh and feel safe, leaving a lasting impact on all those who crossed her path.

A celebration of Life service to honor the life of Dawn Roka Yarbro will be held on November 15, 2024 at Williams Funeral Home 1600 S. Garland Ave. Garland, Texas 75040. The viewing will be held 3:00pm and the service will be 4:00pm followed by the graveside dedication.
