David Lamar Archuleta

David Lamar Archuleta, age 70 of Garland, passed away January 31, 2023. He was born September 13, 1952 in Dragerton, Utah where he loved the outdoors & could often be found in the mountains backpacking, fishing & camping. He later moved to Garland, Tx where he enjoyed cooking and entertaining for his friends, family and enjoying life. David was a Journeyman Master Cement Finisher who gained many friends from the construction business. David loved to put his knowledge & experiences out there to have stories to tell down the line. He is loved by many and missed by all.
David has gone to be with his first born daughter, Cherry Davina, his parents Jose Maclovio Archuleta & Laura Lizbeth Rendon (Lucero) & his brothers - Dell & Matthew Archuleta.
David married Karen Rendon, divorced  then married Linda Slack, divorced.
David is survived by his beautiful children- Daughter Hope Archuleta (John Berry Jr. Son in law) stepson Tony Johnson & daughter Sirena Archuleta.
Grandchildren: Melisandra Maestas (Coleen Caraway granddaughter in-law) Danté Maestas (Miranda Bishop granddaughter in-law) Tatiana Archuleta.
Sisters: Eva Jensen, Rose Franco, Penny Hudson. Many nieces, nephews & great nieces & nephews.
Visitation will be Thursday 2/9 5:30-800pm and Friday 2/10 10:30am.
