Obituary

Cynthia Susan Burton Wilemon born on September 2, 1949 at Baylor of Dallas gained her angel wings on January 04, 2024 at Faith Presbyterian Hospice in Richardson, TX surrounded by her loving family. She was truly a walking Godly miracle in so many's eyes due to more recent underlying health issues. Cynthia was 74 years young. Cynthia's life would seem too short to many, but those of us who were Blessed to be touched by her understand that her beautiful existence and the imprint she left on all of our hearts exceed the quantity of time that she stayed here. Cynthia was talented and adventurous in many aspects of her life. She was a master of cooking family recipes, gardening, an avid Garland Owls football fan, Beatles fan club member for life, a thoughtful and loyal friend, the best confidant her daughter could have, and an absolutely amazing and one of a kind mother, grandmother, sister, & mother-in-law. When Cynthia wasn't working in the Dental setting, she could be found on a walk with her beloved grandpups Brody & Brendyn, grabbing a bite of Mexican food with her kids, going on fun day trips with her family and friends, or helping to transport her granddaughter Makenna to and from dance classes. Not a day went by where Cynthia didn't talk about how much her family meant to her -- specifically daughter Cynthia Michelle and Grandchildren, Makenna, Moses, Maxwell, & Matteo was arguably her most important achievement in life. Cynthia is survived by her loving daughter Cynthia Michelle Espino, and precious grandchildren Makenna & Matteo Espino of Dallas, TX, sisters Charlotte Burton of Addison, TX & Carol Sinclair of San Antonio, TX, her brothers Keith Burton of Illinois & Kurtis Burton of Tennessee, and special Son-in-law Manuel Espino of Dallas, TX, not to mention countless friends that turned into family. Cynthia was preceded by her grandparents Sue H. & John A. McCurry Sr. of Garland, TX, parents Betty & Howard Burton of Garland, TX, and her loving companion of many years, Jim Huffaker of Garland, TX. All in all, Cindy as she preferred to go by, is watching over us all from the Heavens with her gorgeous smile and comforting laugh, as she holds so many special memories of her loved ones close to her heart.
