Charline Roddy, 89 of Garland, Texas sadly left us on August 14, 2024 at 3:47 AM surrounded by love and comfort.

Charline leaves behind three children: son, Charles Gregory (Greg) and Amanda Motley; son, Darrell Glenn and Marie Motley; daughter, Deana Sheree Motley and Johnathan (Ty) Tompkins; three stepchildren: Rhonda and Clay Stacks, Randy and Donna Roddy, Phillip and Lisa Roddy. She also leaves behind sixteen grandchildren; twenty-nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; brother, Gary and Flo Hill; and niece, Tracy Lafoy.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Francis and Dean Jacobs Hill; her loving husband, Franklin Delano Roddy (Dell) and her first born son, Donald DeWayne Motley (Donny).

She worked at Orchard Hills Rexall in Garland, Texas for over twenty years as a buyer and cashier.

Besides her love of Christ and her family, her gift of cooking was a form of love she offered to her family and friends. She also loved embroidery and reading.

Honorary pallbearers will be Darrell Motley, Jr., Preston Motley, Miller Motley, Austin Roddy, Michael Motley, Jeremy Motley, Jamey Vest, Jeff Roddy, Brent Henman and Chad Henman.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Parkinsons Foundation would be appreciated.
