Cecilia Rodriguez, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on December 14, 2025. Born on October 21, 1946, in Brownsville, Texas, she was the cherished daughter of Carlos and Esperanza Gorena.

In 1974, Alfonso and Cecilia moved to Mesquite, Texas, where she built a life centered on family, love, and community. She lived in the same home for 51 years, creating a place filled with warmth, memories, and generations of love.

Cecilia lived a life rooted in love, strength, and selflessness. She was known for her gentle spirit, kind heart, and unwavering care for those she held dear. Her presence brought comfort, and her love created a foundation that will continue through generations.

She leaves behind her beloved husband of 57 years, Alfonso Rodriguez Jr., with whom she shared a lifetime of love, partnership, and devotion. Above all, Cecilia treasured her family. She was deeply proud of her children: Dianne Escue, Lori Robinett, Virginia Sias, and Alfonso Rodriguez III.  Her son-in-laws: Aric Escue, Mike Robinett, and Miguel Sias. Her role as a wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother filled her life with joy and purpose.

She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren: Robert Estrada, Ryan Estrada, Brittany Latham, Ricky Estrada, Sofia Escue, Faith Robinett, Dylan Robinett, Andrew Rodriguez, and Joshua Sias.  Her beloved great-grandchildren: Emma, Beau, Olivia, Jack, Brecken, Bennett, Noah, Ricky III, Adalyn, and Aliyah.

Cecilia was preceded in death by her parents, Carlos and Esperanza Gorena.

Though her absence is deeply felt, the memories she created and the love she shared will remain a source of comfort and strength. Her life was a beautiful testament through her love, compassion, and grace.

Cecilia Rodriguez's love does not end here—it lives on in the hearts of her family and all who were blessed to know her.

Visitation will be 6:00PM – 8:00PM Thursday, December 18, 2025 at Williams Memorial Chapel. Funeral service will be 1:00PM Friday, December 19, 2025 at Williams Memorial Chapel.
