Carolina Lara-Delgado born May 22, 1953, Saturday morning, March 30, 2024 at her
home, accompanied by her husband and children, she was 70 years old.
She is survived by her husband, Juan Delgado, seven siblings, Raymond Lara, Ernest
Lara, Felipe Lara, Rosa Lara, Lorenzo Lara, Paul Lara, and Sandra Rodriguez. Her
children, Raymond Gamez, Loretta Chavez, Marsha Gamez, Amanda Pita. Eight
grandchildren, Jacob, Daniel, Calvin, Catalina, Emilio, Angelica, Gabriel, and Aurora.
Six great-grandchildren, Charlie, Oliver, Raymond, Elena, Ellie, and Jasmin. Also left
behind is her beloved cat, Miku.
Mrs. Lara-Delgado was preceded in death by her parents John and Lucia Lara; her
brother, John Lara, and her grandson, Ralph Chavez.
She was employed with the Department of Defense, AAFES (Army Air Force Exchange
Service) for twenty-six years before her retirement. During which she earned multiple
achievements and recognition awards.
Her education consisted of two Associates Degrees in Legal Secretarial and of Arts in
Merchandise and Fashion Design. A Bachelors Degree in Business and Administration.
Rosary will be said 7pm Thursday, April 4th in the Williams Funeral Directors chapel,
1600 S. Garland Ave, Garland, Texas 75040 at 7pm and with the Wake from 5pm until
8pm.
Funeral service will begin with mass 2pm Friday, April 5th at Good Shepherd Catholic
Parish, 1304 Main Street, Garland, Texas 75040.
