Obituary

Carl Edward Evans, 69, of Garland, Texas, passed away on September 16, 2024.

Carl Edward Evans was born in Wichita Falls, Texas to Cora Pearl Evans on May 24, 1955. He went to Clovis High School and graduated in 1973. He went on to earn a degree in from Eastern State University. He worked as a firefighter for USS Badger for several years. He enjoyed helping others in NA and AA to live clean and sober. He received the National Defense Service Medal Navy as part of the RE-4 unit aboard
the USS Badger and was involved in demonstrating his dedication and commitment to his country.

Carl Edward Evans is survived by his Pop Joe Canady of, Irving Texas; siblings; Glenda Gaines and husband Benny of Plano, Texas; Carmen Evans of Cypress, Texas; Norma Evans of Dallas, Texas; Tamme Evans of Ft. Worth, Texas; Jerri Canady Williams Irving Texas; Larry Warren of Tulsa, Oklahoma; numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives and friends.

Carl may not have had children of his own, but he touched the lives of many with his kindness, generosity and compassion. His Legacy of service and support will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
