Brian Parsons was born September 12, 1959, in Texarkana, TX.  Loved ones who preceded him in death are his parents, J. O. and Joyce Parsons, his sister, Lori Rosenzweig and Melanie Parsons.

During childhood, he spent time at the family farm in Umpire, AR, with his grandparents where he realized the importance of family. Brian had fond memories of activities during this time which included swimming in the Saline River, camping with family at Lake Ouachita and working in the chicken coops with Uncle Sel. In high school, Brian was an avid athlete, participating in football, baseball, basketball and pole vault.

In 1986, Brian and Andrea married.  They welcomed their first child, Emily in 1992.  Their second child, Sam was born in 1994. The family spent time living in Ft. Smith, AR as well as the DFW Metroplex.

In 1985 Brian graduated from the University of North Texas.  He then started a 38-year career in the manufacturing industry.  He was employed in a leadership role at Texas Instruments, Raytheon, Mary Kay Cosmetics and Leonardo DRS, where he built many long-lasting relationships.
Brian joined New World UMC in December 2010 where he served on SPRC, was a member of United Methodist Men, Monday Morning Men's Bible Study, was an usher, was a member of the security team and attended The Well Sunday School Class.

Brian and Melanie married in 2004, they became a blended family of five.  He enjoyed seeing their children go through school, attending their extra-curricular activities, and watching Sam play sports.  In October 2015, Brian was devastated by the loss of Melanie to breast cancer.
On October 12, 2018, Brian and Kay were married and created a beautifully blended family of seven.  Together they enjoyed traveling, attending destination concerts, dancing, sporting events, including all things Arkansas Razorbacks.  In 2021, Brian became "GP" – Grandpa Parsons and the family continues to grow with a new baby expected in November.  Brian was so thrilled to be a "GP" for a second time.  Brian was happiest when he was able to spend time with family, listening to music and dancing with Kay.

August 2024, Brian was diagnosed with CNS Lymphoma.  He was a patient at Medical City Dallas where he was cared for by many compassionate doctors, nurses and patient care techs; all giving him strength and encouragement.  Brian entertained medical staff and his visitors with stories, pictures and lots of laughs.  He shared testimony and witnessed his strong faith in God.  On April 9th, Brian passed after courageously battling cancer.

Family who celebrate his life and precious memories are his devoted and loving wife, Kay Parsons, and their adoring children, Emily Parsons, Sam Parsons (Hope), Carole Jane Johnson (Kegan), Jordan Morris (Brittany), Paige Arasato (Mason) and grand-daughter, June Ellee, with whom Brian cherished time they spent together. He also leaves behind his sister Brenda Hamby, brothers-in-law, Keith Divelbliss, Brett Divelbliss, Mark Divelbliss, sister-in-law Brenda Divelbliss (Patrick) and along with many numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
