Charles Brady Cox, 90, was born May 21, 1930 in Gainesville, TX to Rad and Vera Cox and went to be with his Lord and Savior on February 23, 2021 in Garland, TX.   He is survived by his two sons, Michael Cox of Houston, Texas and Tracy Cox and wife, Tina, of Dallas, Texas; and his daughter Faith Phipps and husband, Don, of Eliot, Maine.  He is also survived by his two stepsons David Benedetto and wife, Hilarie, of Grapevine, Texas and Gary Benedetto and wife, Angela, of Shreveport, Louisiana. Extended family includes: two grandchildren, Steve Cox and wife, Cecelia (two great-grandsons, Sam and Jude), and Alicia Cox Goad and husband, Michael (great-grandson, Jack); grandson, Chris Phipps and wife, Lynda; four step-grandchildren, Brad Benedetto and wife, Morgan,(step-great-grandson, Dylan), John Benedetto, Anthony Benedetto and Nick Benedetto.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Rad and Vera Cox of Gainesville, Texas, a brother, John Cox, and sister, Dorotha David and wives, Betty Benedetto Cox and Joan Pickrell.  He is survived by his current wife Nelda Roberts Cox of Midlothian, Texas.

Brady was born in Gainesville, Texas but has lived in the Dallas area most of his life.  He was active in the US Air Force as Staff Sergeant from 1952 to 1956 serving overseas in France and Morocco, as well as Andrews Air Force Base in Washington D.C.  Brady was an active volunteer in the Boy Scouts of America having served as Scoutmaster of Troop 890 and District Commissioner in the 1970s and 1980s in Dallas, Texas.

Brady was a longtime "telephone man" with Southwestern Bell Telephone Company for 45 years prior to retirement.  He was also an active member of First Methodist Church of Rowlett, Texas. In addition he was active in the Masonic Lodge as a 32 ^nd degree Mason and a member of the Hella Temple Shriners organization.  He enjoyed being a member and held various officer positions of the Kissin Kuzzins square dance club of Garland, Texas.
