Bobbie Brackett

Bobbie Jean Blakely Brackett was born on November 15, 1934 to Clyde and Blanche
Cookston Blakely in Garland Texas. She passed away on October 6, 2022 in Plano,
Texas at the age of 87. Her parents and brother Charles preceded her in death.

Bobbie attended Garland schools and graduated from Garland High school in 1953.
She married Henry "Pud' Brackett on August 21, 1953. They made their home and
raised their children in Garland. He preceded her in death on December 29, 1995.

Bobbie is survived by 3 children. Daughter Pam McAnally (Brent) and sons Alan
Brackett (Maureen) and Gary Brackett (Terry).
She is survived by grandchildren Amy Wright, Ashley Al-Tirhi, Shannon Carraway,
Brandon Denhardt and Aaron Denhardt, and 11 great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by sister-in-laws Pat Brackett and Patsty Becker.

Bobbie loved to entertain, and Christmas was her favorite holiday, the more decorations
the better. Up until the last few years she had an open house at Christmas, and also
had a Christmas luncheon with her Garland High School classmates. She also loved to
go to the casinos. She could always talk her best friend Mary Dorman, into going with
her. When she was no longer driving she could always find someone to take them.
She loved her family with all her heart, and she will be missed by family and friends.

Services will be held on November 5, 2022 at 10:30am at Williams Funeral Directors in
Garland.
In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations be made to the Alzheimer's
Association.
