Bolton, William Robert “Bob”

Age 83, of Mckinney, Texas born December 6, 1942 to William "Bill" Henry and Mary Dorthea (Agan) Bolton passed away August 29, 2026. Bob is survived by children, Michael Bolton and wife Tahirih, Samantha Frison and husband Jeff, Mary Bolton, Suzie Baker and husband, Brad; brother David Bolton, sister Kathy Hardy, sister Carol Thompson and husband David, brother Alan Bolton and wife Kathleen; grandchildren, Taylor Jones (Janae), Steven Coxen, Amy Coxen, Alicia Seaton (Jeremy), Ashley Petrocco (Zach), Heather Bragg (Davis), Blake Bolton (Zoe), Brody Wright, Connor Bolton, and Amelia Bolton; 11 great-grandchildren, extended family, Ray and Janice Hammon; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father William "Bill"  Bolton; mother Dorthea Bolton; aunt Virginia Agan; brother Richard Bolton.

Bob had a great love of trains, cars, and music. He especially loved blues, rock n’ roll, and The Rolling Stones. After retiring, he fulfilled his dream of moving back to Iowa and continuing the tradition of caring for the family homestead. He also enjoyed outdoor activities such as hunting and fishing while enjoying time with his grandchildren. He attended Garland High School after moving from Iowa in 1954.
