Obituary

In loving memory of Bill D. Goodman who passed away peacefully on November 23, 2023, with family by his side. Bill was born December 14, 1941, NE of Yukon, Oklahoma at the family farm.

He was preceded in death by his parents Kenneth Goodman and Lena Goodman and loving wife of 55 years CC Goodman and brother-in-law Phillip Stinchcomb.

Bill grew up working on the family farm with his sister Norma. He won many ribbons showing swine and was a member of the FFA. He graduated from Yukon High School in 1959 where he served as Senior Class President. He attended some college prior to his career of   35+ years in the Aviation industry.

Bill started performing comedy at the Mesquite Opry and went on to perform at the Garland Opry and was a regular performer at the Wylie Opry in Wylie, Texas where he was awarded Entertainer of the Year in 1998.  He performed at numerous Opry's and special events and occasions all across the states of Texas and Oklahoma. He loved country and bluegrass music.

Bill is survived by his beloved sister Norma Stinchcomb; three sons Brian Goodman, Bruce Goodman and Brad Goodman; Amy Goodman; Grandchildren Shelby Goodman, Deven Shuler and wife Tiffany Shuler; Abby Goodman; Great Grandchildren; Caleb Green, Levi Shuler, Luke Shuler and Cason Green. Niece Phyllis Burright and husband Wayne Burright; Nephew Mark Stinchcomb and wife Robin Stinchcomb; As well as a host of loving cousins; Great nephews and nieces and numerous friends.

He was a truly loving man. He will be missed dearly.
