Betty was born March 26, 1933, in Pickton, TX. She slipped into the peaceful presence of God on May 8, 2026. Betty retired from Roach, Howard, Smith & Hunter after 26 years. She was a member of Orchard Hills Baptist Church in Garland.

Betty is survived by her daughter, Beverly Price & husband Ron; son-in-law, Mike Dyess; grandchildren: Chris Dyess, Bonnie Cooper, Aaron Shane Rhudy, Autumn Meriwether, Shaw Denny, Jennifer Dearing, Aaron Price, Daniel Price and Neil Denny; 16 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-granddaughters; brother, Jim Alford.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, W.T. Spigener; daughters, Gail Dyess and Pam Denny; parents, Rev. Roy Alford and Lela Frances Alfrod; 3 sisters and 3 brothers.

Visitation will be 6:00PM – 8:00PM Thursday, May 14, 2026 at Williams Funeral Directors. Funeral service will be 10:30AM Friday May 15, 2026 at Williams Memorial Chapel. Entombment will follow at Restland Memorial Park.
