Becky Sue Reid

May 26,1958 – August 14, 2025

Becky Sue Fairchild Reid, age 67, of Mesquite, Texas, passed away peacefully with family Thursday August 14, 2025.  Becky was born May 26, 1958, in Los Angeles, California to Jack Fairchild and Doris Parker Fairchild.  She grew up in Garland, Texas, and she graduated from South Garland High School. She earned her Texas Barbering & Cosmetology license.  She graduated from Trinity Valley Community College with a nursing degree.

Becky was an amazing woman, nurse, mother, grandmother, sister, cousin and friend that survived so many things in her life. Her greatest accomplishment was her children and being a mom. She had several careers during her life, she was a hairdresser for many years, and she was a registered nurse.  She loved caring for the elderly, she loved horses, and her little dog Daisy.  She loved going to the lake and going to Jazzercise.  She loved playing softball her favorite position was shortstop and third base.  She enjoyed country music, spending time with family and friends, going out to eat, shopping and learning new things.

She is survived by her son, Charles Reid III, daughter, Sara Domi, and husband Lati Domi, sister, Debbie Fairchild, brother, David Fairchild and wife Maggie Fairchild, sister, Karen Taylor and husband William Taylor, sister, Lori Hood and husband Bryan Hood, grandchild Dorian Domi, and many nieces and nephews.

Becky Reid was preceded in death by her ex-husband Charles Reid Jr., father, Jack Fairchild and mother, Doris Parker Fairchild.
