Obituary

Barbara Jo Miller Rojas, 81, died peacefully on November 5, 2024, surrounded by family and friends. Barbara was born to Charles and Kathyrn Miller on March 6, 1943, in Decatur, Texas. She grew up in Dallas and graduated from Bryan Adams High School. Barbara began her career at Bluecross/Blueshield as a data entry operator and progressed through several roles when her group became a part of EDS. Barbara and Fred Rojas were married on April 11, 1987. They lived in Mesquite, Texas, while raising a family and working until retiring several years ago.

Barbara enjoyed community service and philanthropic opportunities and loved going on cruises. She was an officer for the Dallas and Texas Alliance for Retired Americans and was involved in other senior organizations. Barbara was also very involved with the city and state governments.

Barbra was passionate about many things, especially her friends, her family, and her grandchildren (and great-grandchildren). She loved BIG! She was a loving and supportive mother, friend, and devoted wife. She knew how to make others feel special. Her most favorite thing was being a Wita.
