May 10, 1965 — Mar 24, 2024
Dallas
Ban Ky Le was born on May 10, 1965 in Bong Son, Binh Dinh Vietnam to Que Van Le and Tri Thi Nguyen. After immigrating to the United States with his family in 1975, he had spent the last five decades living in Dallas, Texas surrounded by a multitude of family and friends. He passed away on Sunday, March 24, 2024 after a hard fought battle with cancer.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and sister Ngoc-Thach Thi Le. He is survived by his wife, Ha "Nga" Le, daughter, Whitney Simion, son, Derek Le, and two grandchildren, Charlotte and Clare Simion; siblings Ngoc-Dung Thi Le, Khoa Ky Le, Hong-Nga Nguyen, and Hong-Thai Le, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Ban worked for Bank of America since 2015 as Senior Vice President of Cyber Securities.
He loved to work hard, spend time with family and friends, be an active member in his church community, play volleyball, be outdoors, and work on cars. He aimed to give his absolute best self and was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. Though he was a private man, he reserved his full love for his family and friends and would do anything for anyone. A true traditional family man, his well-being came second to those he loved.
