Arnold "Andy" Andrew Woessner

11/28/38 – 12/26/2022

Andy passed away at home in the early morning hours of Monday December 26th at the age of 84. He was a beloved husband, Dad, Pup Pup and Friend. Andy was born on November 28th 1938 in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania where he met and married his wife Carol. In 1964 they moved to Garland Texas, where they raised 2 daughters Cheryl and Sandy. Andy worked for the City of Garland 30 plus years where he retired as an Environmental Protection Agent in 2002.

Andy is survived by his wife Carol Woessner of 59 years. Andy is survived by daughter Cheryl Woessner Robbins and fiancé Shawn Cook and granddaughter Alyssa Robbins. He is also survived by daughter Sandy Woessner Todd and son in law Travis Todd and preceded in death by son in law CW4 Andrew D. Robbins (2003).

Andy never met a stranger and was loved by all the neighborhood kids. He was always up for a game of street football where the kids would always come over asking if Andy could come out and play. He was also known for coaching the Garland Girls Fast Pitch City Champs softball team from the late 70's to mid-80's where both his daughters played softball. He was also a coach and referee for Pee Wee Football. Andy was an avid animal lover who would go out to dinner or lunch and order extra food to bring home to feed his dog, the raccoons, Opossum's and whatever other animals lurked in the alley.

In Lieu of flowers the family has requested to make donations to places that Andy cared about.
