Anne Lois Peeples, born on October 1, 1935, in Lexington, Kentucky, passed away on August 8, 2025. She was a beloved wife to James D. Peeples, with whom she shared 69 years of marriage. Anne retired in 2005 after dedicating 30 years to Baylor University Medical Center.

She is survived by her children, Gregory Peeples of Alexandria, Virginia, and Matthew Peeples of Mesquite, Texas, as well as her son-in-law, David Hughes of Lavon, Texas. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren, Barak Hughes and Zach Hughes of Lavon, Texas. Anne was predeceased by her children, Brian Peeples and Dayna Hughes, and her grandchild, Abrielle Braxton.
