Anna Mae Coats, 92, of Garland, Texas passed away on April 10, 2024.

Anna was born on February 29, 1932, in Whitesboro, Texas to Florence & Arthur Knight. Her siblings are George and Veda Hall Knight. After graduating from high school, Anna worked at Garland Memorial Hospital where she was an outstanding employee. She has always loved spending time with her grandchildren along with baking and traveling. Anna was a devoted Christian and lived her life for God and family. She carried a broken heart for having lost three of her children.

Anna is survived by her son, Phillip Pierce, wife, Kim; grandchildren, Chris Pierce, wife, Kim, Kelly Ghrisenberry, husband, Ryan, Alicia Moore, husband, Joey, Nick Pierce, Abbey Payne, husband, Harison, Zackary Braud, wife, Emily; great-grandchildren, Kendall, Cameron, and Chris Rivas, Bradley, Colton, Mitchell, and Oliver Payne, Kyle Ghrisenberry, Allison, Amber, and Mia Pierce, and Jackson Moore. She is preceded in death by her children, Carolyn Pierce, David Pierce, Linda Pierce; parents, Florence & Arthur Knight; siblings, Veta Hall Knight, George Knight.

I would like to thank all the people that loved my mother, were friends with my mother, and  worshiped with her. I would also like to thank the special people that helped her and I get through the difficult last days of an angel on earth!

Anna was always Sweet, Happy, and Giving!
