Gladys Ann White

Gladys Ann White (Ann), 91, died Friday, May 19, 2023 at 3:50 a.m. at Baylor, Scott & White - Lake Pointe Hospital.

She was born October 10, 1931 in Platter, OK; the daughter of Robert and Winnie Householder. In March of 1947 she married John Henry White, who preceded her in death.

Aside from various jobs throughout her life (Sears, TI, etc) she was known to be an amazing homemaker and hostess by many. She was an extremely kind and gentle earth angel with a heart as big as Texas and who was always there to love and support her family in any way possible. Via her unconditional love and selfless giving, she left behind a memorable imprint of warmth on any life she touched. She was no doubt a woman or God whose faith held strong until the end.

She is survived by one son: Johnny White; four grandchildren: Rodney Newsome, Stephanie Pettibon, Christine White, and Summer Evans; three great-grandsons, one great-granddaughter and one great-great-granddaughter.

Besides her husband, John White, she was preceded in death by two sisters, two brothers, one daughter, and one son.

A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, May 25, 2023 at Restland Cemetery in section Veteran's II.
