Anh Thi Hoang, 92, a long-time resident of Garland, Texas, peacefully went home to be with Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior Friday on July 11th, 2025.

Born on September 24, 1932, in the village of Kim Bong, Hoi An City, Quang Nam Province, South Vietnam, Anh was the daughter of the late Kinh Dinh Hoang and Tuy Thi Tran. She was united in marriage to Hung Dinh Nguyen for 62 years, until his passing on November 11, 2012.

As the eldest sister in her family, Anh began working for her mother in her younger years, helping manage the family's bookstore. After marrying, she devoted herself to caring for and providing for her growing family. She developed a keen aptitude for running small businesses, and her willingness to take risks helped her become a successful entrepreneur. This additional income was a blessing in supporting her and her husband's large family of nine children.

A devoted wife and mother, Anh found deep joy and fulfillment in hosting family gatherings and offering warm hospitality to guests, relatives, and friends who visited her home.

Anh is survived by her children: Son, Tuyen Nguyen, and his wife Thu-Thuy; Daughter, Thanh-Tuyen Nguyen, and her husband Jim; Son, Khang Nguyen, and his wife Nhu; Son, Tan Nguyen, and his wife Sherill; Daughter, Thanh-Thuy Doan, and her husband Hieu; Son, Tri Nguyen, and his wife Trang; Son, Chuyen Nguyen, and his wife Candy; Son, Khoa Nguyen, and his wife Thao; Daughter, Thanh-Truc Nguyen, and her husband Don; And daughter-in-law, Bieu Nguyen.

She is also survived by 31 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Anh was preceded in death by several of her siblings, with the exception of her younger sisters Truyen Hoang, Duyen Hoang, Hoi Hoang, and younger brother Doan Hoang.

A family and loved ones gathering and time of sharing memories will be held on Monday, July 21, 2025, at 10:30 AM at Williams Funeral Directors in Garland, Texas, followed by interment at Restland Funeral Home Cemetery, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, Texas.
