The Obituary of "Andrew Joseph Shedd"

Andrew Joseph Shedd, 48, of Garland, Texas passed away December 20th, 2022, at the VA Medical Center in Dallas, TX after battling cancer for almost a year. Just like he dealt with all experiences in life, Andy managed his illness with strength and grace with helpfrom his family and loving friend Lindi Holley, and wanted to spend as much time with
his loved ones as possible.

He was born July 11, 1974, to parents Robert Elmer Shedd and Sharon Lee Brooks in Austin, Texas. Andy attended Lakeview Centennial High School and graduated in 1992. He then enlisted in the U.S. Army where he served in the Infantry being stationed in Panama and California. After 4 years of service to his country, Andy was Honorably discharged and began his search for a career. He finally found a place in the security industry and made a career out of it. He married his late wife Jennifer Renee Shedd in 1999 and they had 2 beautiful children, Taylor Renee and Riley Nicole.

Andy is survived by his daughters Taylor and Riley, brother Michael, sister Staci, nieces and nephews, and bonus children. He is preceded in death by his wife Jennifer, his parents Robert and Sharon, and his grandparents.
