Amy Marecle, 52, of Murphy, Texas went home to be with the Lord on August 25, 2023. She was born on Carswell Air Force Base in Ft. Worth, Texas on February 26, 1971 to proud parents Kenneth and Barbara Marecle.

Amy was a Claims Examiner for Broadspire, a Crawford company, and a member of New Liberty Baptist Church in Garland, Texas where she sang in the Sanctuary Choir. She also served as the pianist for her choir at South Garland High School, where she graduated in 1989. Amy loved children and enjoyed working in the Creeper Department (toddlers) at First Baptist Wylie before coming back home to New Liberty. She loved Pastor Matt and knew God wanted her back home. Amy was a loyal friend and loved deeply. She loved her Lord, her family, her friends and her church. Amy was so proud of her niece and nephew and loved them fiercely. A friend said, "she was an old soul in a young body with a lot of grit and sass".

Amy is survived by her parents, Ken and Barbara Marecle; brother, Eric and his wife Heather Marecle; niece and nephew, Madelynn and Tate Marecle; and dear friends, Kathryn Cockerham, Laura Kring, and Peter Kring. She is preceded in death by her beloved grandparents, H.E. and Anies Smith, and E.L. and Berniece Marecle.

A memorial service will be held for Amy September 9, with visitation at 10:30 and service at 11:00AM at her beloved New Liberty Baptist Church located at 333 W. Centerville Road, Garland Texas 75041.
