Allyne Irene "GMA" Harris (née Thiele), 80, passed away on March 14, 2025. Born on June 18, 1944, in Taylor, Texas, she lived a life filled with love, joy, and unwavering faith.

Allyne dedicated much of her professional life to the banking industry before retiring from Aon Specialty Re-Insurance. She had an exceptional talent for numbers and a natural ability to connect with people, making her a trusted and beloved figure in her field.

Above all else, Allyne cherished her family. She married the love of her life, Billy Ray Harris, Sr. on August 24,1963 and recently celebrated 61 years of wedded bliss. He passed on March 5, 2025, and she joined him in heaven as soon as she could. She is survived by her children: Tom (Jane), Deanna (Kent Strenger), and Bill (Lorrie); her grandchildren: Andrea Urbik (Adam), Jason Harris (Calli), Heather McSweeney (Jim), James Lyall (Bailey), Meagan Harris, and Dr. D. Casey Carrillo; as well as eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edwin and Lena (Hoffman) Thiele, and her siblings Roy, Carolyn and Patsy Jones.

Allyne's love for her family was rivaled only by her devotion to Elvis Presley. She made numerous trips to Graceland, attended concerts, and found immense joy in his music. A passionate sports fan, she followed the Dallas Cowboys religiously—her favorite player being Roger Staubach—and traveled across the country to watch the Texas Rangers play. She also enjoyed cheering on the Dallas Mavericks but humorously withdrew her loyalty after they traded "Danka"- Luka Dončić.

Her faith was the foundation of her life. Baptized, confirmed, and married at St. John's Lutheran Church in Thrall, Texas, she embodied the teachings of Christ through her kindness and selfless service to others. Her unwavering belief in God guided every aspect of her life as she extended love and grace to everyone she met.

Allyne's presence radiated joy. She was a devoted wife to the love of her life, Billy, and an extraordinary mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, and friend. Her legacy is one of unconditional love— a gift she generously shared with all who knew her.

Allyne's parting advice to her children and grandchildren was that "I love them. Have fun and be good to each other". Her memory will forever be cherished by those who were fortunate enough to know her. May her legacy of love continue to inspire all whose lives she touched.
