Aaron Michael Allen – Beloved Son, Brother, Grandson, Nephew, Uncle and Friend to countless – was born on March 8,  1988 in Garland Texas and passed from this life to the next July 21,  2023.

Aaron was a multi -talented artist, photographer and musician that loved the outdoors.  He found much peace and happiness on long distance hikes and last year made a 1400-mile trek from Atlanta to New York on the Appalachian Trail.  He leaves behind a legacy of art and music that we will cherish for the rest of our lives.

Aaron was raised in Garland Texas and attended Garland Christian Academy and Naaman Forest High School and completed his education at Eastfield College and Christ for the Nations. During his academic years he played every sport imaginable until his love of music came to the forefront. He became an accomplished guitarist, singer and songwriter and lent his talents to nationally released recordings with Youth for the Nations while in college.

Later moving to Nashville, Tennessee Aaron became an important part of Postmates / Uber and helped to create policy that still impacts that business to this day. While there he continued in music as time allowed and helped write and record many songs with his friends and bandmates along the way.

There are lights in a world of darkness, and beauty that grows from the edges of a beaten trail. Aaron was these things. He was a beautiful soul. Wise beyond his years and insightful. He had a way of cutting through the façade and getting to the core. A searcher and a learner. Constantly reading and preparing for every new adventure. A believer in Christ Jesus and a minister. He is Heaven's gain and this world's loss.

Aaron is preceded in death by: Grandmother Judith Ray Sakis, Grandfather Don H. Allen, Grandmother Corine Espinosa Flanagan, Grandfather Alfred J. Gay, Grandmother Hazel Lucille Gay, Uncle Ronald Gay, and Cousin Christopher Flanagan.

Aaron is survived by: His parents Brad and Lee Allen, brother Remington Allen and his wife Melody and their children Grace Marie Allen and Nathan Scott Allen. Grandmother Barbara Allen, Uncles and Aunts – Mike and Vicki Gay, Sharon Krnavek, Melissa Haecker, Lark Needham, Blain Vinson and wife Karen, David Hamby, Larry Hamby, Lane Allen, Lee Chappa and wife Kay, Clint Flanagan and wife Teri, Jerry Flanagan and wife Leslie, Linda Garner and Sandra Long. His cousins: Kristy Chocque and husband Yohnathan, LaShawna Melton and husband Tommy, Chanel Gay, Shannon Wilpitz and husband Chad, Austin Vinson, Colby Vinson, Jack Vinson, Ryder Needham, Scott Chappa and wife Angie, Chris Chappa and wife Julie, Jason Chappa and family, Gary Flanagan and wife Chandra, Renee Bridgewater and husband Marcus, Brandi Doak Flanagan, Tony Garner and wife Allyson, Amy Garner, Lee McCormick, Kevin Lightfoot and wife Stephanie, Cristal Lightfoot, Jimmy Lightfoot, Toccoa Bratten and husband Tyler and Shanell Reed and husband Russell.
